Lovely Stones accepts no liability on colour differences in the engraving. These are normal, as it is a natural product and each stone is unique, sometimes the colour of the engraving differs slightly per stone or on the same stone. The inclusion of other materials in the stone may also cause a slightly darker or lighter engraving locally.

Belgian bluestone has visible presence of fossilised sea lilies (crinoids) it has a unique character and authenticity. Each specific stone is unique. Phenomena such as muscles (almost straight white stripes consisting of lime), burns (surface black flakes) and veins (jagged white, grey and black lines) are inherent to the structure of the material and have no detrimental effect on the stone's durability. Therefore, it cannot be a cause for complaint.

Slate is a capricious stone with some differences in thickness and shape, slate sometimes has some glistening particles trapped in it. This is inherent in the product and cannot be a cause for complaint.
